Abstract
This course is aimed at engineers and technicians who start their career in information security. This course helps the participant to prepare for the “Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)” exam.  The seven key areas of the Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) are: Access Controls, Security Operations and Administration, Monitoring and Analysis, Risk, Response and Recovery, Cryptography, Malicious Code and Activities, Security of Networks and Communications. Throughout the training, participants are invited to answer questions, similar to the official investigation, in groups and individually on each of the areas.

  • Anyone wishing to pass the SSCP ® certification exam and deepen the concepts and basic knowledge in information security
  • Students completing a program of study specializing in information technology

Prerequisites
Participants must have basic knowledge on computer networks
Examination and Certification

  • The certification exam is not included with the training.  To register for the examination one must go to the official website of the ISC2 ® (www.isc2.org)
  • Certification Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP ®) is based on a multiple choice questionnaire (in English) of 125 questions on the 7 areas - Duration: 3 hours

General Information

  • Series of practical questions are provided to the participants
  • A 28 CPE (Continuing Professional Education) participation certificate will be issued to participants
